MEET
Mika’l
Hi! I’m Mika’l! (pronounced “Mi-kell”, rhymes with Michelle) I’m the founder and lead planner at Posey Event Design and I am so glad you’re here!
I was born and raised in the Lowcountry. After going to college in Columbia I decided I wanted to raise my babies near the water. So for the past 20 years I’ve lived in and raised my five children in this beautiful area surrounded by marshes, rivers and beaches. It’s truly glorious. Throughout my career of being a stay-at-home-mom, I also taught pre-school and was on the board of a local Women’s Center for 10 years. I began helping plan their fundraisers and events. I’ve always been drawn to all things pretty and creating beautiful tablescapes. It was only natural for me to want to start planning weddings! It has all of the elements of details, design and organization that I love. But most importantly I love connecting with my brides and their families and helping them create their most special day. It truly is one of my life’s greatest joys.
When I’m not working on the next wedding, you may find me playing soccer in the backyard with one or two of my four boys, walking the streets of downtown Savannah looking for a new favorite spot to catch a bite to eat, or at the beach enjoying these beautiful South Carolina and Georgia coasts I get to live close to. I’m truly blessed and so thankful.
MEET
Morgan
Morgan is the newest lead planner for Posey Event Design.
Originally from Columbus, OH, Morgan moved down to coastal Georgia to grow her career in the wedding industry. She was a wedding coordinator at Sea Island Resort before moving to Savannah to be a wedding planner for Ivory & Beau and now Posey Event Design. Morgan is thrilled about the opportunity to join the Posey team as the team’s close-knit culture, attention to detail, and passion for planning weddings aligns with her strengths and values as a wedding planner.
When Morgan is not planning weddings she enjoys walking her dog Mandi, playing volleyball at Forsyth Park, reading a fantasy series, and interviewing guests for her podcast Marriage Material (available on Spotify; go check it out!).

Robert
Robert supports the Posey team through operations & development. He also enjoys being an assistant for many of our weddings!
A father of two, he has spent the better part of the last 10 years in the hospitality industry, from café startups to renovating and running a bed and breakfast in downtown Savannah. When not working on weddings, Robert manages our short term rental company, Kindred House. He is also a licensed Real Estate Agent with Engel & Volkers Savannah.
He brings a true heart and passion to curating an event and finding ways to make it run smoothly from behind the scenes. His ability to bring a calming presence and a helpful hand to any situation makes him the perfect asset to have on your wedding day. Together we make an unstoppable team, ready to create your perfect wedding day experience.
